New Review for Dancing With Fate

My author just received this lovely review from Kelley of CK2S Kwips and Kritiques. Kelley said

"Hywela Lyn has packed enough adventure into Dancing with Fate to rival a full length novel. I am a huge fan of stories of Camelot and the famed King Arthur and Merlin so I was especially intrigued by the connection between those tales and this book."

MUSE ROASTING

What's that delicious aroma?

I'm being roasted today at the Book Roast blog: http://www.bookroast.blogspot.com/

OK the roasting and grilling is purely metaphorical, but I may be asked to give away a few insider secrets! There's virtual hot chocolate and marshmallows, something a little stronger for those who wish it, and your favourite barbecue food.

Stop by and read an excerpt from 'Dancing With Fate. Answer a question at the Book Roast blog and you may win a download and some other goodies. Ask your own questions or just chat. Be sure to leave a comment, then check back in later. I'll be popping in as often as I can with my Author, Hywela Lyn to make sure Dionysus has laid on enough wine and Ares and Hades aren't turning the grill into Hellsfire! *Grin*

Terpsichore, Muse Of Dance

Tuesday, February 10, 2009

I am so excited!

I've just heard that my story 'Dancing With Fate' is up for 'Book Of The Year' at LASR in the novela section. 'Dancing With Fate' is one of the 'Songs Of The Muses' series which features myself and my eight muse sisters.

There are some really great stories up for this award, so it's really hard to ask for your vote - but if you read the review and do fancy voting for it, it would be SO much appreciated and I'll dance for you in my dreams.
My ‘muse sister Thalia is also in the running with her great story in the same series ‘No Funny Stuff’ which is a wonderful story and I’d be almost as happy to see her win as to win, myself. The Link is HERE

The Best Book of 2008 poll will run until Saturday, February 14th, which is, of course, the day you mortals call Saint Valentine's Day. I think my sister Erato is going to be very busy on that day! *grin*. Speaking about mortals, I have a yearning to visit the your world again. I must speak to Zeus and Apollo to see if a mortal is in need of enlightenment and inspiration. I'd better ask the mortal who records my adventures to stand by in case I have need of her again.
